Why Stage Management?

You might be wondering, "DaShaun, with your talents in singing and acting, why are you also stage managing?" The answer is simple: my love for theatre goes beyond just performing. I've always had a knack for working with my hands, understanding technology, building sets, and managing teams. Theatre is my passion, and I want to contribute to it in every way I can.

While I am still actively auditioning and performing, I’m excited to put all my skills to use behind the scenes as well. That’s why, when I went to college, I chose a double concentration in both Musical Theatre and Design & Technical Theatre. It allows me to engage with every aspect of the production process and ensures I can contribute meaningfully, whether on stage or off.
